About Us

The Eyeronick is a 31 foot Boston Whaler Sportfish. Fully equipped for Salmon and Trout fishing, with two fully USCG licensed captains. Both captains have been fishing Lake Michigan for many years and regularly compete in Salmon tournaments.

Meet the Captains

Captain Ron Levin

“I started fishing when I was 5 years old. It’s been a passion of mine my entire life, just ask my wife and kids. In my early teens I worked on three different charter boats as a first mate, so I learned a lot about fishing for salmon and trout, and have been fishing Lake Michigan for several years. I've competed in many walleye tournaments over the past two decades and salmon tournaments the last few years. I've taught both of my kids how to fish and even competed in a  couple of tournaments with my son. In my spare time I also do taxidermy, so when you catch that trophy fish I can help you preserve that memory. 

Captain Nick Ingoglia

"Fishing has been my passion for as long as I can remember. For 20 plus years I've been competing in local and national walleye tournaments. In my free time I would fish Lake Michigan and grew to love salmon and trout fishing. Ron and I started competing in salmon tournaments and haven't looked back! We want to share our techniques and knowledge with people who are either just starting to fish, or people who want to gain more knowledge. Most specifically,  salmon and trout fishing out of Winthrop Harbor, IL, which is our home port.
